Spiti valley tour
The Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalaya mountains in Himachal Pradesh, India. Spiti valley tour is one of the most adventurous tour.
Day 1 – Chandigarh to Sarahan
Get picked up from Chandigarh railway station and get transferred by road to Sarahan. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit places which are in your walking distance near by your hotel. Overnight stay in hotel of Sarahan.
Day 2- Sarahan to Sangla
After breakfast leave for Sangla after visting Bhimakali temple . On reaching Sangla, check-in to your hotel. You can enjoy the nature beauty at afternoon by a small walk of surrounding places. Night-stay in the hotel of Sangla.
Day 3- Sangla to Chitkul
This morning leave for Chitkul which is approx 27 Km away from sangla, the last Indian inhabited village near the Indo-China border. Enjoy the chitkul vally. Return back to your hotel and enjoy the evening. Overnight stay in hotel of Sangla.
Day 4-Sangla To Kalpa
This day start your journey for Kalpa, enjoy sightseeing in the way. See the beauty of kinnaur – kailash, Chini Viallge, Vishnu temple. Overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 5-Kalpa to Nako
After breakfast leave early for Nako Village of Kinnaur district in Himachal Pradesh via Roghi Village. After check in to Nako hotel, Visit the most beautiful Nako Lake, enjoy the whole evening in this village and Night Stay at Nako Hotel.
Note: You may also finish your lunch in Nako dhaba (Near helipad ground) which is very tasty.
Day 6-Nako to Kaza
On this day leave early for the kaza ( Kaja is the subdivisional headquarters of the remote Spiti Valley in the Lahaul and Spiti district of the state of Himachal Pradesh) via Gue Monestry ( The Village of the Lama Mummy, here you can see India’s only known naturally preserved mummy) and Tabo Monestry (Tabo Monastery is located in the Tabo village of Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, One of the oldest monestry, To know more Click here). At afternoon check in to Kaza hotel. Enjoy the beauty of kaza at evening. Visit Kaza monestry. Overnight stay at Kaza hotel.
Day 7- Kaza sight seen
Spend the morning at leisure. After breakfast leave for local sight seeing. Visit Key Monestry, Kibber Village, Langza Village (About 14,190 ft). Return back to hotel at afternoon. At evening, you may also visit kaza local market at evening. If you want to taste the local food then Don’t forget to taste Thukpa in local market ( Thukpa is a Tibetan noodle soup, which originated in the eastern part of Tibet, eastern and northern part of Nepal and Northeast India). Overnight stay at Kaza hotel.
Day 8- Kaza to Kalpa
This day start your return journey for Kalpa, enjoy sightseeing in the way. Overnight stay at Kalpa.
Day 9- Kalpa to Rampur
After breakfast leave early for Rampur and Night Stay at Rampur.
Day 10- Rampur-Chandigarh/Kalka
After a memorable experience of the spiti tour, this day return back to Chandigarh/Kalka Via Shimla (Which one is your drop point).
